For those of you who don’t already know there I am off to walk from one side of the country to the other, St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay to be precise. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember. So my bags are all packed and first thing in the morning I am setting off for St Bees.

As a result blogging may be a little bit slow on here for the next couple of weeks, I’ve got a couple of posts ready to go while I’m away and will might try some live blogs along the way should I come across any worthy beer  and I’m hopingI do.

You can follow my progress here, here and here , should you wish to sponsor me, It’s for a great cause, my local search and rescue team, hopefully who’s services I won’t be requiring any time soon, you can do so here.

That's all folks

Somewhat belated best regards for your forthcoming perambulation, Sr Mogg. Looks like a forking great trot.

I did the South West Coast Path last year and my giddy goodness, it certainly made me realise the fragility of knee joints. I’m 36 now but at the time it felt like my legs were turning 297!

Have a belter. Drink as much as you like, those cals will fall straight off over t’Pennines.

See if you can detour to Thornbridge while you’re out in the wilderness!

    Dave
