What is the most outrageous beer you have ever had?

With the announcement yesterday from Brewdog that they had released a 55% beer encased in a stuffed squirel or stoat It got me wondering as to what the most outrageous beer everyone had ever tried? or even the most outrageous place you have drank a beer? What made it so outrageous? Would you drink it again???

Leave a comment below and the best one might just get a little treat….

The 2L Mythos is up with the best of them. It’s outrageous because it takes up the whole table and only Popeye can raise it his mouth with one arm. And it’s wider than I am…

brewdogs STB, very horrible taste it was to…
i understand there was one bottle of “the end of history” put in a dead hare. 4 in squirrels and the rest in stoats.. have to laugh at how offeneded some people are by the animal bottles tho.

Does it count if you saw someone else drink it?

Reminds me of a time when I was in a lovely pub in Sheffield, ’twas linked to a train station in fact! I saw one of those brewer folk drop and smash a bottle of tasty chilli infused beer, spill it on his shoe, remove his shoe, then sup it from said (and quite unrefined) drinking vessel.

I worry… it may not have been the most outrageous brew he’d ever supped!

    Outrageous beer by association :)

The most outrageous beer abv wise is Sam Adams Utopias. But the most extreme drinking would either be the BrewDog Tokyo* (which is way too easy to drink) or DogFish Head Fort, another easy drinker.

Nice one Mark, I too have had 2l of mythos – in a giant glass boot none the less,

Kelly nice one – thanks for the reminder im sure the brewer in question will never get sick of hearing about that incident it was a classic.

JayZeis – I’ve never tried the Utopias but have heard a lot about them, maybe one day I will come across one and get to give it a go.
