This just landed in my inbox so thought I’d share it as it sound like a blooming good festival and if I wasn’t going to the Hawkshed Beer Festival on Thursday I’d have popped up to Newcastle this weekend.
We kick off on Friday at 3pm when our 3 bars will open. We have 40 cask ales & 40 real ciders this year including 10 diverse Ales, given the gold standard in various categories by CAMRA over the last decade.
Jarrow, Wylam, Tyne Bank and Fyne Breweries will showcase the beers we love to sell and you love to drink all year round.
New to this year’s festival, a large range of Keg and Bottled beer will give a glimpse into future trends in brewing; with kegs coming from Kernel, Magic Rock & Tempest and bottles from Redchurch and By the Horns.
