I’ve just realised i’ve not blogged since last years awards, there’s a stack of unfinished posts in my drafts folder but the year really has flown by.
There’s been a few tweets wondering if these were happening this year so here’s an updated list, with added bits for canned beer.
Feel free to do a runner-up and a winner for each category (or some honourable mentions) and link to blog posts if you’ve written about winners before.

2. Best UK Keg Beer – Siren Craft – “Ten Finger Discount”
3. Best UK Bottled Beer – Siren Craft Caribbean Chocolate Cake Stout, narrowly beating Siren Craft MRS Brown
4. Best UK Canned Beer – Hastings Down Under IPA
5. Best Overseas Draught – De Molen Citra
6. Best Overseas Bottled Beer – De Molen – Bloed, Zweet & Trannen
7. Best Overseas Canned Beer – Pizza Port Kook DIPA
8. Best collaboration brew – Adnams / Magic Rock – The Herbalist
9. Best Branding – Still difficult to look past Magic Rock
10. Best Pump Clip – Could name a number of Totally Brewed beers for this one. Also I find the current trend for unmarked draft taps in places like the Piccadilly Tap to be a bit of a pain
11. Best UK Brewery – Brass Castle, for being consistently excellent across a wide range of beer styles.
12. Best Overseas Brewery – De Molen
13. Best New Brewery – I’ve really enjoyed the beers I’ve had from Track Brewery in Manchester.
14. Pub/Bar of the Year – Shakespeare’s in Sheffield is the best pub in Sheffield by a distance, which is quite an achievement when you consider how many good pubs there are in Sheffield!
15. Beer Festival of the Year – Sheffield CAMRA Beer Festival continues to improve year on year and is now very good indeed.
16. Supermarket of the Year – F**k supermarkets. Support independent off-licences instead
17. Independent Retailer of the Year – The Beer Stop in Dronfield is sensationally good, although it is disappointing that they’ve stopped doing draft beer.
18. Online Retailer Of The Year – No need for me to go online with so many quality beer shops near where I live.
19. Best Beer Blog or Website – Not been browsing beer blogs too much of late, although Boak & Bailey are always good
20. Simon Johnson Award for Best Beer Twitterer – @yvanseth always has something interesting to say, and is a really nice chap to boot!
